It’s extremely important to have the filtration system cleaned thoroughly and regularly. The filters pick up all the undesirable elements found in tap water. With time, the filter clogs and must be replaced. If the filter is not replaced on time, it discharges the elements it contains back in the water.

Warning: before drinking water from a filter, Health Canada recommends to let the water run at least 30 seconds before drinking.
